Default RE: Comments on Jack Devine Kits

Kelly,
I built the R-2 with all the scale details, shown on Jack's site. I can tell you it is a sweetheart to fly. Ground handling was amazing and flew very lite on the controls. I covered it with prepainted Coverite fabric and trimmed it with Krylon. Dick Tristoa did all the grafics for it. It was powered with a sachs 3.2. I crashed it shortly after the maiden in an accelerated stall, but was talking to Jack and Bomber Field about rebuilding it. It,s in suprisingly good shape considering how hard it hit on the asphalt. Motor was completely destroyed, yet plane is repairable. I think that says something about how strong they are. It only weighed about 20lbs RTF.
