Default RE: 3rd plane

monkey boy, why do you say for 3d you need 100" wingspan for best 3d performance? there is a company called extremeflight rc. they make a 68 inch yak 54. what they did as with all the planes is lighten them up, use a better wood and rediculously oversize the control surfaces. i have talked to the guy personally who test flew this plane. he flies the same kind of planes you do in competitions around the world. i forgot to ask his name. oh well. he told me that i had made an excellent choice on planes (it won't be available until february probably). he said that this plane performed almost everything BETTER than his 35% 3d planes, and that he was thuroughly impressed. it had almost no cupling at all and had no bad snapping or stalling tendancies. this plane is an arf, but uses high quality wood, uses real iron on covering, carbon fiber tubes, etc. here's a link, you may want to check it out.
