I do not consider myself Gods gift but do consider myself as someone who is willing to share his 40 years of modeling knowledge with anyone who is willing to accept help. I even spent some time trying to find dimentions on your 3W 70. Unfortunately I came up empty too but can tell you that my 70 fit entirely withing the cowls of a Ohio Models Cap 232 and Lanier 202. If you can find cowl measurements for those airplanes it may come close to,your answer. I even offered reasons to as why the engine you mentioned had kicked back a few times.
