Craig, I have been thinking the same during my cooling construction/build. I just got back inside, after my very first testrun with my Spitfire/Kolm 135. I tested both without the cowling completly closed, and with the side plates off. I took some video/photos as well (incl telemetry data), and will edit it before posting later today
