That may be for HL, but not for quality Txs like Futaba or Spektrum. I have two 15 year old Futaba Attacks that have been used by three year olds (I mean actual three year olds), dropped, kicked, used to hammer things, antennas look more like pretzels than antennas, and they work flawlessly. My DX6i has been drilled, modded, dropped down a flight of stairs...

Not that I recommend abuse, just that it happens. Especially in a house with young boys.

Better components and soldering stand up to punishment, but they cost more.
