You are correct, most younger folks just don't have the time to do a scale project, many can take months/years to complete. Life, (work, kids, family and sometimes expense) just dose not allow it. I believe the introduction of ARFs is a good thing, it brings people into the hobby. Later they may want to be creative and build an airplane that not the others at the field. Don't mistake that I am NOT down on ARFs, I am just happy we have people coming into the hobby. I have been building and flying RC airplanes for more than 30 years and I have always like the work with my hands. I have also restored classic cars. Here are some pictures of my work, I also do the club web site, www.okbarnstormers.com there are more pictures of my planes, C-130 build and others. The Spad XIII is ready to complete the painting.
