Dansy, thank you. It was port 3.
port 3 is labeled USB and port 4 is labeled bind.
I updated the receiver last night through port 3 labeled USB. Update went fine as it should.
With port 4 labeled bind and port 3 accepting the firmware update. Why would I have reason to think otherwise. LOL
But this morning I thought " what do I have to loose. Stuck the bind plug into port 3, Bingo ! Worked
