The Eaglet always brings back memories for me. My old friend that got me flying RC in the beginning built an Eaglet, and it was the first RC plane I had seen built. He made his 2 channel. Rudder and elevator with one of the CL engines we had been using. I think it was an Enya .19. The interesting thing, was the radio used. We had a local hobby store that was not very honest. They sold him a 2 channel radio for surface use. We did not know the difference. He found out later that it did not have enough range! Made for a wild ride with only 2 channels. I never flew an Eaglet, but the original Eagle 63 is the model I learned to fly with.
