If someone gives me photos with dimensions of everything, i can do a 3D solidworks drawing and have my machinist quote for the parts. Pricing is very reasonable and turn around is very quick as well, he doesnt mind small volumes either
same goes for wood parts, i only need a scan with dimensions and i can cnc cut those if needed
