Hello; Currently the latest technology is a ceramic based never seize compound called "rock and roll" We found that the copper and lead based compounds would deteriorate in the presence of calcium chloride, which is what they were using to dust-proof our roads around here. It also created a mini battery, being two diss-similar metals and served as a sacrificial anode, encouraging corrosion. It's messy stuff to use, wipe it clean after you're finished. It says on the can that it's gaurenteed to 1375 degrees F
