Actually.... The JR Axis gyro has a heading lock mode at neutral. And it will hold the plane knife edge hands off. It will hold it in a hover... Mostly.

It it will force the plane to stay where you left it. So if you roll more than 90 on a knife edge pass and let go.... It will hold a crappy looking knife edge. Lol.
