And while we remember, and honor our vets, our younger generations really, and unfortunately, in a big measure know zip about that.
That is so true. History is not being taught in schools anymore, in fact when I was in school in the 70's the history classes never got out of the 1800's. Shame too, WWII had the greatest generation, and they are all but gone now. I blame the hippies for what Americans are seen as now. Shameful too. Especially when countries like France honor OUR war vets more than we do.
