Well back in the day from 18 t0 30 I had similar problems Then met the wife now been 53 years of hell, (just kidding) So maybe there is hope for you yet.
Well I have all of the repairs done, still waiting for a warm up so I can paint, Got all of the C/F in the weeks cowl and in the process of fitting it to the fuse, just one lite layer and that made it really stiff, can't cut any holes till I can remount the engine.
