The stringer has a groove in it, and I don't have a replacement. So what I was thinking is cutting a series of 1/16" slots 3/4 through the stringer to relieve the internal stress, then gluing a 1/16" balsa filler piece. After that taking it off the board is a good idea. Thoughts???
