As long as you don't cake the resin on, you can glass this bird out. Mine came in at a respectable 29 pounds. I drilled lightening holes in the vert/horizontal stab ribs and it really helped in not having to add a ton of weight in the nose. A few onces saved back there adds up to a lot of onces not having to be added up front.
Also, I used the recommended method of mounting the engine on an isolation mount, it pushed my DLE55 out another 1/2-3/4 of an inch and really dampens the vibration on the airframe.
