Hey I can begin to walk short distances again! I can drive, automatics only, manuals have to sit it out for a while...

Stitches come out next week, pin ( like a grenade!) comes out two weeks after that; then stretching and ability to hike a month or so after that.
Doc told me I'm healing well. He told me besides reducing the bone spurs he also pulled out a number of per-existing bone chips from joint;
rather handily explains why it hurt sometimes more than others as these things floated about...I'm hoping he got them all out .

I'm just glad that I can get out of the house if I need/want to...sheese! I like my house but really!
