Read The Pitts thread. It has most of your questions in it. I'm using HITEC 5625's all the way around on mine. The DA is also covered in the Pitts thread and you will probably haver to do the same. Cut out the bottom of the box, reinforce with tri stock and fiberglass. Also you pin by drilling through the side wall and into the firewall and insert wood or metal dowels with epoxy.

I just found that my top wing center section is covered upside down so that blows[]. But Tower is sending a top wing as we speak.

Depending on which batteries you intend to use will determine how many. The only servo load will be the Ailerons so you might want to get either the FUtaba or JR MAS-10 servo sync. Or run the L side on 1 and the R side on 6. I'm using a single battery(Duralite Plus 4000ma!). This plane is small enough not to require 2 rx or batts.
