Go used. You can pick up a decent Futaba 7c or 8/9 channel FM with servos and have money left over for the gyro and servo. Don't listen to "you have to have 2.4" I still fly Fm just fine with no issues. Oh, and noone else seems to be on 72Mhz so no conflicts. On another note. I flew my Hawk Sport with an ole mechanical gyro (G-154) until two years ago just fine. Still have it and run Futaba 3004s on all the controls and now fly it with a "used" Gy-601/9251 servo combo. Just scale type flying for me. If you need any help with that Hawk, lmk.

Negotiate the price. Asking only puts you at $270. You should be able to get all this for around 220-230.

Then you need a good 3Amp or greater, regulator and a 2S Lipo battery for power. ($40-$60)
