We just had another maiden of an Excalibur today at our club field. That makes 4. Thunderbird, Blue Angel, Brit, and traditional red/white/ blue. Motors include P-60, P-70, K-80 and Rabbit. It's a turbine powered Sweet Stik.
Keep going...our local club, with grass flying site has 10 more :-) We are 100% JetCat powered, mainly P-100RX. The Xcalibur has certainly been a game changer, with people getting their first turbine model because of the Xcalibur. I guess the biggest draw other than great flying is speed of assembly at the field. My example is one this coming weekend, I started building it one year ago this coming Wednesday and flew it on the Saturday morning. We are back at the same site this Saturday/Sunday, maybe I'll take a cake :-)
