You guys lose me with the Lexan versus Plexi conversation. Everything I have read and every plastic company that I have spoke with say Lexan is a brand name of Plexiglas. Plexiglas by trade is actually called polycarbonate sheet. There are three major brand names, Lexan, Tuffak, and Macrolon, of which all brands have variables in type's of polycarbonate for different applications. PETG is a polyethelene and is far more flexible than plexi. Both have their pros and cons and for what I am looking for in this canopy I believe the plexi (at least from plastic people's recommendations) is most suited. As for sun light, this bird won't see enough to be a consideration. As for impacts, well, it damn sure best not be seeing any and if it does I think the canopy would be the least of my concerns.
If anyone knows better by all means spit it out.
