I looked at a lot of compressors when I started filling air tanks on models. The Sears unit is the best of the bunch if you ask me and I would not bother with buying the NiMH batteries for the thing. Get the Li-Ion starter pack which includes the small Li-Ion battery and a charger that will do both battery types.
Yes the Sears unit will go, I think, to 150lbs. has a digital pressure readout on the back of the unit and you can set an air pressure and it will shut off if you want. I like that air pressure readout to check accuracy of the mounted gauges and I have a Corsair which has the little post thing to indicate air pressure which is pretty much hidden in the cockpit. The air pressure readout on the Sears unit allows me to see what's in the system.
