The problem is the Sierra air cylinder is too short and if you mount it in the scale position, it doesn't even retract half way.
The solution will be when we design a truly scale tail retract (I'm working on 100% scale mains in 1/5scale at the moment). If I can find a longer cylinder to replace the stock Sierra, it may work.

Ive got a 1:1 drawing of the fullscale main gear struts and scissors already that can be scaled to any size necessary. Im actually going to be placing the order to my machinist for my 1/4 scale struts mid to late april. If you want, i can resize my drawings for 1/5 and get a quote on them for you.
