Thanks Jim,
The cable & pulley systems worked out pretty well. I think the pulleys I got from a model sailboat company were just about the right size & I made my own aluminum brackets to mount them securely to the struts. I used two double-block pulley's for the elevators (one for each elevator half) & the singles for each side of the rudder pull-pull cables. I'll snap some pictures of the setup & post them later. I do still need to apply to the struts those water transfer decals that you sent me. That will dress them up nicely.
