I've already answered your question! I highly modified my servo mount, you would have to destroy the fuselage to remove the mounting plate. In any event, I've seen many stock Skymaster Hornets fly without a problem.
Both ends of the plywood servo mount are keyed into the formers, I guess you could make it out of 1/4" steel plate and it would be stronger.
