Yes and no. It worked on some units and didn't work on others. The fault was the inconsistency of the voltage on the Taigen unit. Most folks ran the unit directly from the battery as shown in the instructions and that works fine.
The only thing I changed is to have copper tubing from the exhaust because the plastic tubing sometimes melted inside of the smoker causing it to stop smoking. The copper tube prevents this and seems to improve the smoker slightly.
Nathan Williams of RC Tanks OF OKC will be making them from now on, it just got too time consuming for me. I didn't have enough time to work on my own tanks. I will keep going on the other products I make and from time to time add to them.
