Default sopwith triplane

This time, it was a really BIG 'heimer ! It came to me in a dream last night (no, not really, I'm only kidding !) - I actually am the proud owner of a set of Sopwith Tripehound plans in quarter scale drawn on 4 sheets by Mike Booth in 1989. And what is more, I finally found them - beautifully drawn and I understand it flies like the proverbial dream. The span is 80.3/4 inches (2.06 metres), weight c. 15 - 17lb (7 kg), 17 sq feet of wing area !!! And its designed for 120 - 180 4-strokes. An excellent range of accessories are available - spun alum cowliong, scale wheels, flat rigging wire, adjustable fork rigging ends, transfers ...... all from Mike Booth and/or (I believe) Mick Reeves. Current contacts I don't have - go to your model shop and buy a UK model magazine for their details. Sorry it toook so long to gel ...... ! MalcolmL
