If interested I took my Sony nex camera to the wright Patterson afb museum. I Only kept the zoom lens on and focused on just little details you generally can't find in books and the internet easily. Kept the flash on too so the details would pop out. There are two mustangs there. One of the very first A model types with the diamond tread tires and original engine I stall. The the later D model is there and focused on drop tanks and the real nose cone profile - it's seems much stubbier than the typical RC p51 prop like the Carf prop. Of course you'll have to scroll through to find each plane. A took hundreds overall so enjoy if you like detail.
