No maiden yet. It seemed that not many were interested in my thread so I quit posting. I had some life interruptions to my build as well.
I split the accessory bays earler and the latest update, I now have them hinged properly so they can be opened in a scale fashion. Also installed a locking wire. Additionally I removed the canopy air valve because it leaked. Skymaster tried to take care of me by sending me a free replacment but it leaked too. Real 104's never had a powered canopy so I decided to eliminate the air system. I wanted the ability to close the canopy by hand and then lock it from the TX. I'm now installing a small servo in the nose with a small wire to actuate the factory canopy lock. All of this will allow me to keep all access panels attached to the airplane during pre/post flight servicing. I will be gluing the canopys in next and completing the empennage to an airworthy status.
