On behalf of the Bear Mountain Flyers and everyone involved in producing the contest, thank you for your support and appreciation. I am privileged to speak for those who contributed their time and effort to produce a truly first class event.
In my relatively brief time flying pattern, I can’t remember another event which benefitted more from the selfless participation of such a diverse group than we did. It was, as Robert Fish so eloquently stated in a previous post, a “coming together” and it should give us all great personal satisfaction to have been a part of that process.
That we were able to combine several days of perfect weather, a first class flying facility, great food & drink, and 40 participants committed to indulging in their love for pattern flying was spectacular. As was the camaraderie shared by the attendees, as bridges were built and bonds were forged.

Looking ahead, we are already thinking about our 2016 contest. Among other changes, we are debating whether to expand our facility to more easily accommodate three flight lines. Moreover, in the wake of the success of this event, the club has already been approached by an international caliber sponsor interested in working with us to create a “West Coast Nats” for F3A pattern !
These are exciting times, so please stay tuned, there is plenty more to come.
Thank you again for your support and participation.

Thanks Sean for this great Photo......
