I will use some of your ideas.
I receuved an email from Skymaster with a notice warning not to fly the Avanti yet and wait for a rudder re enforcement update. I guess this is what they ment regarding the re enfoecement you did to the rudder.
As for the VT pipe - I hope it will do the job. I cannot upgrade it like you did, do not have the proper materials for that.
