I'm pleased to hear you managed to fly the flyfly hawk with full stabs, I think it looks a more realistic, but do appreciate the problems slop could cause. I'll be watching for this when i set mine up.
I read on one of the discussion that someone had purchased and used a Change Sun 120mm fan and the motor supplied with it which is a BL5052-500Kv.
Looking at the wattage this motor provides and the 8-10Kg thrust, i thought this would be a set up, I'm thinking of purchasing a 160 HV esc for this and running it through 12s lipo's, probably 5000maH 35c, hoping this should give me around 7 mins of flight time.
What do you think, i'm not very experienced in setting this type of setup at, any advice would be appreciated
