I too received an email from SM asking me not to fly until I receive "re-enforcement parts for fin". Does anyone know what "parts" they are asking us to install? On their first addendum, they had us re-enforce rudder base around brackets and forward/aft rudder post and I laid down strips of carbon cloth inside around brackets and base of rudder. I hope they are not having us replace the brackets.....no way I can get them out now!!!

Did you find the source of your flutter on the rudder? I did have rudder flutter before I re-enforced the front post and base of rudder with carbon cloth. If I remember correctly, didn't you install a brass bushing for the rudder pin going through the hinges or was that someone else? I am surprised the BLS-172 stripped gears. I am using them also and I am going to remove servo to check. I do have a little play in my servo linkage (4/40 ball links) and I can't tell if it is from servo, linkage or hinges.
