Maybe be I can offer some input on adjusing dual carbs.

As usual peak both HSNs before trying to adjust the LSNs.

On my FA-300TTDP, I set the LSN on each carb by tweeking each at the lowest stable idle. Lean out 1 of the LSNs until you detect that cylinder falling out, then open just a hair more than is needed to bring that cylinder back. Repeat for the other carb & check transition.
