Everything rounds up to the personal envelope. If you are a great pilot always landing smooth as Huawei P8 Max there are no problems with a heavier setup. It adds power, it adds speed - to start - landing - and level flight.

I do prefer the lightest possible setup, sacrificing thrust to less weight as I travel allot and do flights from various fileds with very different conditions. Better safe than sorry on a short field. For me lighter is better. For most cheaper is better. For everyone your preference is the best! My advices - your heart!
