Hello RC, the brakes are electric too and are strong enough to lock the wheel if you need to. Normally you never want to lock a wheel. These brakes also incorporate ABS that pulses the brake application to help prevent a lock under high energy stops. E pulses are not preceptable during operation as it happens very fast. The result is an infinitely controllable brake system that far surpasses ALL pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
