David, maybe Jason's got a point. A Slow Stick may not look much like a plane, but neither will your Sunny Boy after the fifth or sixth crash. If you're trying to teach yourself, crashes WILL happen. I know that the Slow Stick can take a good bit of abuse and still be made to fly after many repairs.

It might be better to learn to fly on a plane that's easy to fly, and then fly one that's easy to look at.
