Default RE: Snapper & Poulan trimmer engines - Worth converting?

I have converted a 25cc Weedeater brand trimmer. The engine looks very similar to the homelite (side carb & muffler). I got the prop hub and mount from Carr Precision. There is some trimming to the conversion, but nothing major. I built my own "Ultra cheap muffler" using the idea off of RCFAQ.com. It worked very well. I have not run the engine, so I don't have the performance numbers. My engine is a California Emissions model, so the carb is non adjustable and tiny. I have hopped up homelites before, so if needed I will use the same techniques for this engine. The engine is going into a Balsa Usa EAA Bipe. The engine fit is very nice looking. I cut 3 inches off the nose to help with the CG.
