Robert if its any consolation at least you're still in the pain stage, when you get to the numb stage like I did they start talking paralysis. I had back surgery on the double to keeo from losing the use of my right leg. I feel a lot better now mostly pain and numbness free. I still wake up stiff and a little sore but the more active you are during the day the better you feel. As they say if you don't use it you lose it.
