Guys this is sad news, I do wish war didn't have to happen let alone take away your loved ones God bless them all.

I was over there during the Gulf War, arrived the day prior to a multi ground to air attack that killed many men sleeping in a 5 story dormitory full of USAF security police. The entire side of the building was missing on its long side / south wall from the top down, with all the rooms exposed. We had two perimeters roads circled around our base with round the clock guards patrolling with M 60's and scud missile launchers setup every 200 yards around the compound. I was in a Civil Engineering Squadron to support a secret base in the desert. We flew in by night and left by night to help avoid ground to air attacks, folks would disappear all the time no information would be given we moved in groups of at least 3 to avoid trouble when outside the base.
