Yes I realize the plane is naturally tail heavy. I also think if I position the engine far forward it might actually be too much nose weight. Now explain the wood rails part as that does not give me much "food for thought" other than perhaps that's the reason the front end is lighter. But I'm not sure. You have to forgive me for being a clueless newbie and asking questions.
