The little Fokker has a 49 inch span, the plans are from MAN/airage #FSP04852 Uravitch design. Ther is also a SE 5a to go along with it.#FSP03852 plus a D-VIIIFSP06852.
I built the Ziroli Swoose for a float plane, got it in the air then we got kicked off of lake Mead by the FEDs. Our little float planes are now UAVs and not allowed to fly off of the lake. We can still fly at the field they built at the lake but not off the water?? We can fly electrics from lake Las Vegas but I think glow or gas is not allowed?
I used two incidence meters to get the little Fokker set. It flew well but is a handful on the ground for take off. Yesterday a fellow at the lake bed had one about the same size, one of the old ARFs. It handled just like mine on the ground. Fine to land but take off was a thrill.
As designed the two I built were pretty heavy so if I was to build another it would go on a diet and everything aft would really get built light.
