Right now we are pretty much on schedule so we could probably have a boat made in 10 days to 2 weeks, We are normally that long back to get a order on the build table. All of our cats are 350.00 except the extended MTI, They will run good on a .26 But they are not big power on today's standards. So you need to go into this comparing apples to apples. the heart of any hull is the motor and any boat will only be as good as the motor. If you are running alone you will probably be very happy with the performance of a 26 even the bigger cats will run well with it as there hull gains more lift. But boats like the 50" Thunderbolt and the lightning cat will most likely be faster just because they are smaller.Keep in mind the MTI's and Thunderbolt are not shoe box fit boats where the deck overlaps the hull and they both need seam work (filling and sanding) and they are meant to be painted, the thundercat and lightning cats have a finished seam.you are not that far from me I would be more then happy to help you with your build as well.
