I've never seen it before, do you think it was because Sig switched the fuse to laser cut ply? I guess it ended up being no big deal either way I just took a little slice off of the bottom and it fit perfectly. I also decided not to use CA hinges and install the Robart type which I bought a good 15 years ago and never used. They were super easy to install and move so easy! On other models in the past I used a flat Du-bro hinge with a removable pin that worked well but I really like the Robart ones.

My next step is to hinge the rudder and then cut out the ply pieces that I will glue to F1 ribs to secure the front of the bolt on wing. This will be my first attempt at turning a rubber band wing to bolt on so I hope all goes well. I also need to start thinking of what colors I will use for the Riser. I've always used Monokote but my LHS sells Ultracoat which I have never tried. Being that it is a glider I will of course use transparent covering for one of the colors.
