I am so unbelievably sick of these robart retracts. They sent me the replacement trunion with supposedly harder pins and on my one landing yesterday they bent still. The plane made a perfect landing and made a slight turn on rollout and the gear bent......again.
What dia is that pin ? 1/4 inch perhaps? In that case; Why not take a long 1/4 inch bolt and cut it. Use the non-threaded part as a pin.
Then it will be the last thing that is bendt on that plane, forever.
Use a dremel for cutting...
