Some say the all bare metal invasion stripes scheme is correct. Some say the olive drab and invasion stripes scheme is correct. Still some others say the bare metal invasion stripe scheme with red rudders is correct.
I can see how the last version could be true since the 434th squadron had red rudders on their planes like P-51's, one of his other Scats.
Id like to see documentation of the bare metal version with stripes AND red rudders. I dont like the look of the big basic geometric shapes on the tails.
Then theres the color of the Scat II letters, red or yellow? Ive seen both.
