Progress! Got around to doing the covering on the horizontal stabilizer and it came out great.

However, if I had known what a pain it is to cover with Koverall I think I'd have gone with MonoKote instead. I think the finished product will be nice, but man, what a labor-intensive and expensive process to use this stuff.

Koverall itself is cheap, but Stix-It is expensive, the thinner is expensive, the PolyCrylic is expensive, dunno what the primer is gonna cost yet, but I am also into this for two quarts of PolyTone at almost fifty bucks a quart including tax and shipping.

Next time, MonoKote or SolarTex for me.

In the below picture, the wing already has the three coats of PolyCrylic, the horizontal stabilizer is bare Koverall. And yes, I know the stab should face the other way. ;-)
