Well it should, as long as the carb will richen up enough for the Gas/Glow mix. The Gas/Glow mix provides for around 32:1 oil though, so you would need to add some oil to it because they say "Do not run with less than the manufacturers oil suggestion", which is 20 to 25:1.

I am curious, although not at all informed about gas/glow. Will the oil added to make the mix 20 to 25:1 oil, affect the glow plugs reaction to the now-more-reduced methanol in the fuel mix? I am guessing the need for 20 to 25:1 oil is either no bushings, or just bronze bushings in the con rod?" Also, why pay for the CDI and the regulator if you are not going to use them? Must be other 9/10cc plain glow engines to try. Gas/glow is typically used only for running gasoline engines (roller or ball bearings) with gas/glow mix and a glow plug?
