Left aileron on Ch.1
Right aileron on Ch.6
There are no separate speed brakes or flaps.
Should the right aileron be on another channel to do the following:
I would like to have the ailerons act as flaps/speedbrakes in a couple of possible configurations.
Switch C - Up is no flaps, Neutral is 1/2 down, and Down is full flaps? (Like the flaps on a full size aircraft.) Speed brake on another switch that overrides all flap settings and activates speed brakes.
VR knob to adjust flaps in a continuous manner. Speed brake on another switch that overrides all flap settings and activates speed brakes.
Switch C so that Neutral is no action, Down is flaps down, and Up is speed brakes.
On landing with flaps down I could then flip Switch C to up and have immediate speed brakes and plant the plane firmly on the ground by cancelling extra lift from the flaps.
Great radio but the Manual is obtuse to say the least. It is a reference manual, not an instruction manual. It should have steps for some simple setups.
