Keith,
I'm not sure how thick the fiberglass horns are, but I have in the past CA'd two fiberglass horns together to create a super strong horn that will support ball or clevis type links. Creating a set of these doubled horns for a centered ball link to reside is bullet proof. I would be more concerned about the support base for the horns than the actual horns themselves.
