Yap that was part of my plan when I get a tiger have one to convert but I'm pretty sure that yes it does take the same chassis as a regular tiger if you look at the metal edition it has a full metal lower hull but a plastic top since the tiger 1 is one of the few all metal chassis it would have required little to no modification to just slide another top on.
